People that have a low fluid rate through their kidneys may want to consider getting critical illness insurance, as it has been linked with strokes in future life.

Researchers in Taiwan and the US analysed studies which included more than 280,000 people in total and found that those with a kidney filtration rate which was about half the normal amount had a 43 per cent higher chance of suffering a stroke.

In order to lower the risk, the US scientists recommended giving treatments to people with low rates of filtration.

A second study by British and Icelandic researchers also found a link between kidney disease and heart disease, which may further prompt the purchase of critical illness insurance.

They discovered that even people in the early stages of kidney problems were at an increased risk of heart issues in the future. ADNFCR-3251-ID-19943412-ADNFCR -- 0 comments: - Post your own comment
