Remember that if you are worried about redundancy you don't have to buy PPI or MPPI (which are short-term products). The best way to protect your income is to buy Income Protection, which potentially pays out until you retire. Unemployment Cover can be taken out additionally with Income Protection if needed at a small extra charge and will cover you for one year if you are made redundant (but if you can't work because of illness or disability it will cover you for much longer)

We're delighted to announce that LifeSearch has appointed David Child as Managing Director.
He will run the business with Tom Baigrie, who becomes Chief Executive Officer. They will split management responsibilities, with Child focusing on sales, profitability and governance and Baigrie overseeing advice quality and promotion of the business.
In February, Child became non-executive chairman of Baigrie Davies Lifesearch. He will continue in this role and we are very pleased to have such an experienced leader on board. In 2003, he joined The Exchange as managing director and led the company through its acquisition by Vertex. He left 1st The Exchange in October 2010.
