Add Extra Cover

Real Life Cover provides the option to add extra cover in the event that you are made redundant or have to stop work to care for a parent or parent-in-law.

• What you get if you're made unemployed through no fault of your own, or you have to stop work to care for a parent or parent-in-law who is incapacitated?
  
  You get 1% of your sum assured every month for up to a year. Unlike other payments under Real Life Cover, this money does not come from your Living Fund. With £150,000 worth of cover, that's £1,500 every month. (If this payment would mean that your total income, excluding State Benefits was more than half of what it was before you had to stop work, we would reduce what we pay you accordingly.)
