Comment of the week
'Whilst Income Protection may not be top of your clients' financial checklists, it is arguably the most important building block that supports all their other financial commitments'.
Unum Provident, from the protecting income aid for financial advisers
Hero of the week
Bright Grey
This week Bright Grey sent advisers a cd-rom and DVD highlighting the need to protect more than just your client's finances. They feature a claimant's story on the Red Arc care service offered to Bright Grey policy holders, bringing home how important it was for their needs, offering more than just a cheque in the post.
We believe that such initiatives help send the right message about how the best value life insurance and protection for consumers is not all about the cheapest premium.
"The ability to help an individual understand their life insurance and protection needs and then look beyond price to the actual product features and benefits is where the value of advice can really be demonstrated. It's about finding the best value life assurance and protection product for your clients individual circumstances, not simply the cheapest product".
Taken from the Bright Grey guide.
